MyMe Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MyMe AI service operated by MyMe LLC ("MyMe," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using MyMe, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. About MyMe

MyMe is a personalized artificial intelligence companion designed for ongoing conversation, self-exploration, reflection, curiosity, and personal connection.

MyMe is an AI system. When you chat with MyMe, you are communicating with artificial intelligence, not a human being.

MyMe may remember information across conversations when memory is enabled and may provide responses that feel relational, personal, conversational, or emotionally responsive.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to subscribe to or use MyMe.

By creating an account, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.

3. MyMe Is Not Professional Care

MyMe is not a doctor, therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, lawyer, financial adviser, or other licensed professional.

MyMe does not provide medical diagnosis, professional treatment, emergency services, legal representation, financial advice, or other regulated professional services.

You remain responsible for your decisions and for obtaining qualified professional assistance when appropriate.

Nothing in MyMe should be used as a substitute for emergency care or other professional services where those services are needed.

4. Crisis and Emergency Situations

MyMe is not an emergency or crisis service.

MyMe includes a protocol designed to respond when a user expresses suicidal ideation or self-harm and may provide information about crisis-support resources.

If you are in immediate danger or believe you may harm yourself or someone else, contact emergency services or an appropriate crisis service in your location.

In the United States, you may call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

5. Your Account

You sign in using a one-time code sent to your email address.

You are responsible for maintaining control of the email account used to access MyMe and for activity occurring through your MyMe account.

Do not attempt to access another person's account or allow another person to use your account in a way that violates these Terms.

6. Subscriptions and Pricing

MyMe currently offers:

Monthly subscription: $17 USD per month

Annual subscription: $168 USD per year

Taxes may be added where required by law.

There is no free trial.

Prices and subscription information are shown before you purchase.

7. Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled.

A monthly subscription renews monthly.

An annual subscription renews annually.

By purchasing a subscription, you authorize Stripe to charge the applicable subscription price and any legally required taxes to your selected payment method at each renewal until you cancel.

You may cancel at any time through Manage subscription in MyMe, which opens Stripe's secure subscription-management page.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.

8. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe.

MyMe does not receive or store your full payment-card number.

If a renewal payment fails, Stripe may notify you, allow you to update your payment method, and retry the payment.

MyMe access may pause while an amount remains unpaid and may resume when payment succeeds.

If payment cannot be completed after Stripe's retry process, the subscription may be cancelled.

9. Changing Plans

Switching between monthly and annual is not available from your account. To change, cancel and choose the other plan when your current period ends.

10. Refunds

Except where applicable law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable.

Cancelling does not entitle you to a refund for unused time remaining in a paid month or year.

MyMe will provide a full refund to the original payment method for:

• a duplicate charge for the same subscription period;
• a billing error caused by MyMe, such as an incorrect amount or a charge after cancellation had already taken effect; or
• any refund required by applicable law.

To request review of a qualifying billing issue, email support@iammyme.com and include the date and amount of the charge.

11. Monthly Usage Allowances

MyMe subscriptions are not unlimited.

Each month currently includes:

Chat: a monthly usage allowance. Very long messages use more of it.

Voice playback: approximately 10 hours of spoken responses, up to 1,000 responses played.

Usage resets at midnight UTC on the first day of each month.

Unused usage does not roll over.

If you reach your chat allowance, chatting pauses until the next monthly reset.

If you reach only the voice allowance, text chat remains available.

There are no automatic overage charges and additional usage cannot currently be purchased.

12. Your Content

You retain ownership of the messages and other material you submit to MyMe ("Your Content").

You give MyMe a limited license to host, store, transmit, process, reproduce, and display Your Content only as reasonably necessary to:

• provide the service to you;
• generate AI responses;
• create memory notes when memory is enabled;
• display your conversations back to you;
• operate requested features; and
• process feedback when you intentionally choose to submit it.

This license ends when the applicable content is deleted, except to the extent retention is required by law or necessary to complete a process you requested.

You represent that you have the right to submit the content you provide and that your use of that content through MyMe does not violate applicable law or the rights of another person.

13. MyMe Responses

MyMe generates responses using artificial intelligence.

As between you and MyMe, MyMe retains any rights it may have in the AI-generated responses produced by the service.

MyMe grants you a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, share, reproduce, adapt, publish, or otherwise use responses generated for you for lawful purposes.

AI-generated responses may not be unique. Other users may receive identical or similar language, ideas, information, or responses.

14. AI Accuracy

Artificial intelligence can make mistakes.

A response may contain inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, misunderstood, or unexpected information.

You are responsible for evaluating responses and independently verifying external facts when accuracy is important, particularly before relying on information in medical, legal, financial, safety-sensitive, or other high-stakes situations.

15. Memory

MyMe may store short memory notes to create continuity across conversations when memory is enabled.

You can view and manage your saved memory, delete individual memories, turn memory off, or choose "Forget everything."

Deleting a conversation does not delete memory notes made from it. You can forget them in Memory.

16. Voice

MyMe may provide optional computer-generated spoken versions of AI responses.

Voice playback is optional.

MyMe does not receive your microphone recording when you use your device's own speech-to-text or dictation feature. Your device converts your speech into text before sending it to MyMe.

17. Acceptable Use

You may not use MyMe to:

• violate applicable law;
• infringe another person's intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
• gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
• interfere with, damage, disrupt, overload, or circumvent the service or its security;
• introduce malware or malicious code;
• use automated means to scrape, harvest, copy, or extract the service in violation of these Terms;
• reverse engineer or attempt to discover protected source code, systems, prompts, credentials, or private infrastructure except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
• impersonate another person for fraudulent or harmful purposes; or
• misuse MyMe in a way that materially harms the service, MyMe LLC, another user, or another person.

18. Feedback

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas, MyMe may use that feedback to operate, maintain, evaluate, and improve the service.

Conversation content remains private unless you specifically choose to include it with your feedback, or as described in the Privacy Policy.

If you choose to include conversation content, you authorize MyMe personnel to review the submitted content for the purpose of understanding and responding to the feedback and improving the service.

19. The MyMe Community

The MyMe community is a separate service hosted on Circle.

An active paid MyMe AI subscription includes the option to join the community at no additional charge, but joining is optional and requires separate access to the community platform.

The community has its own terms, rules, and privacy practices.

Your private MyMe AI conversations are not posted to or shared with the community.

Only eligible community members may open and read the full community content.

Community access generally ends when paid MyMe AI access ends.

20. Privacy

Your use of MyMe is also governed by the MyMe Privacy Policy, available at:

chat.iammyme.com/privacy

The Privacy Policy explains how personal information, conversations, memory, payment information, and other data are handled.

21. Intellectual Property

Except for Your Content and rights expressly granted to you in these Terms, MyMe and its associated software, branding, designs, interfaces, text, graphics, technology, trademarks, and other proprietary materials are owned by MyMe LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of MyMe's platform, software, branding, or proprietary technology to you.

22. Suspension or Termination

MyMe may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account if we reasonably believe that:

• the account is being used fraudulently;
• these Terms have been materially violated;
• the service is being abused or misused;
• continued access creates a material security or legal risk;
• payment remains unpaid; or
• suspension or termination is required by law.

Where reasonable and legally permitted, we may provide notice or an opportunity to correct the issue.

You may stop using MyMe at any time.

23. Cancellation, Data Retention, and Account Deletion

Cancelling a subscription does not immediately delete your account.

You continue to have access through the end of your paid period.

If you cancel, your conversations and memory stay saved in case you come back.

You can delete your account at any time from the account menu.

24. Service Availability and Changes

We work to keep MyMe available and functioning, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Features may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, infrastructure issues, third-party service interruptions, technical problems, security issues, or events outside our reasonable control.

We may make reasonable changes to the service as it develops.

Nothing in this section limits consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

25. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MyMe is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

MyMe LLC does not guarantee that every AI response will be accurate, complete, useful, suitable for a particular purpose, or free from error.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

26. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MyMe LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of MyMe.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyMe LLC's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to MyMe for the service during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply where applicable law prohibits them or where liability cannot legally be limited.

27. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or expenses arising from your unlawful use of the service, your material violation of these Terms, or Your Content where you did not have the right to submit or use it.

This section does not require you to indemnify MyMe for MyMe's own unlawful conduct.

28. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the service or applicable law changes.

If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will provide notice as required by applicable law.

Your continued use of MyMe after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.

29. Applicable Law

Consumer-protection and other mandatory laws applicable where you live continue to apply and are not waived by these Terms.
